In October 2008 PTA was accepted as an Associate Member of the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC).
APLAC is a cooperation of accreditation bodies in the Asia Pacific region that accredit testing, calibration and inspection services.
PTA intend to establish membership of the APLAC Proficiency Testing Committee and contribute to APLAC proficiency testing activity in the region.
